Corporate takeovers, downsizing, retrenchments and bankruptcies became the flavour of the day – our training courses 
were often postponed and even cancelled at the last minute.

Cancellation by a large retail chain of a project of R2.4 million ($400000), resulted in our losing everything - our 
prestigious home in Sandton; even our favourite red Jaguar was re-possessed.

On 1st May 1997 we (and our three children) moved into our caravan - with a vow to never again be lured by credit and 
to live only a cash life. 

A few months earlier, my brother-in-law and father-in-law, both respected business owners, had introduced us to a new 
and interesting business.  

We decided to put all our efforts and focus into this new venture.  We simply copied what successful people were 
doing and worked hard on becoming self-disciplined and consistent.  

We are now enjoying the fruits of that decision. Only 10 months after being bankrupt, we earned R37, 000.00 ($6,100) 
for the month of August 1998).

Today our lives have totally changed…
 
We live a debt free life in a location we love.  We now experience the true feeling of freedom - freedom to express our lives in the most rewarding and beautiful ways possible. Our choices are no longer limited by whether we can afford it 
or not. Our time is our own. 

We work around our children and have the joy of being able to take them away on the holidays they deserve.

We’re having fun.  No stress. No risk. No boss. We work the hours we wish. We have total financial self-reliance. 

We determine our own income level and we enjoy security and complete peace of mind.  We travel anywhere, anytime. 

We meet fascinating new friends who share the dream just like we do.  We have become self-sufficient by helping other’s succeed.  We like that philosophy - it’s in line with our purpose.

Our purpose is to invest our lives into others and by so doing teach and help them grow, succeed and prosper.  

We are concerned with building people - not businesses - because in Network Marketing the person IS the business. 

We’re so thankful that we finally realized that we don’t have to settle for anything less than the very best.  

We took action, and wrote our own success script.
